Dare to defy gravity?
You can take a ride to “Gravity Hill,” Putney Road in Blaine Township where objects appear to roll uphill in excess of fifteen (15) miles per hour, defying gravity.
Whether this spot is a magnetic freak of nature or an optical illusion is uncertain. At the top of the hill rests the remains of a ghost town, the church here is over 100 years old!
It is told that cars placed in neutral will roll uphill to the parking lot of the old church. This area which seems to defy gravity is just miles from the forty-fifth (45th) parallel, the halfway distance from the equator and the North Pole.
No matter what you chose, at the end of the day, you can relax around your community campfire, tell stories and plan for the next day.
